Spiritual Communion?? Are you confused? Let me see if I can explain. There are times when we can't simply receive the Eucharist for whatever the reasons maybe. Unfortunately because, though it is pertinent to ALL that the true and reality of our Christian faith/belief in the presence of the Eucharist is understood, that simply there is nothing that can replace the PRESENCE OF or BLESSINGS GAINED by the HOLY EUCHARIST. When we miss out on partaking in the Host we simply miss out in receiving in Christ into our soul in an intimate way. Period. It's a mystical relationship beyond the written scope of this description. But yes, we can PRAY for our needed strength and grace to get through that week as we can pray for anything else. This is the purpose of this prayer card in case you've never heard of a "Spiritual Communion Prayer" and was confused by it.
